An Evening of Music, Milestones, and Memories at Rainbow Orchards

The Marshall Foundation for Community Health (MFCH) hosted its annual stewardship event on the evening of September 18 at the beautiful Rainbow Orchards. Nearly 50 guests gathered for a night of community and gratitude, honoring three longtime board members for their dedicated service.

Guests were treated to music by harpist Judy Phillips, who also shares her talent at Marshall’s Cancer Center thanks to funding support from MFCH and Images of Hope. The Gold Rush Chorus followed with a moving performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow—a touching tribute to Christa Campbell, owner of Rainbow Orchards and a beloved MFCH board member retiring after 10 years of service.

Additional honorees included Fire Chief Tim Cordero and El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce CEO Laurel Brent-Bumb, each completing nine years on the MFCH board. Their commitment and leadership have left a lasting impact on the Foundation’s work and the health of our community.

Dinner was prepared by the talented students of El Dorado High School’s culinary program, the Foothill Grille. Their creativity and skill impressed every guest. The wine, generously donated by Batia Vineyards, was the perfect complement to the meal.

The stewardship event was a joyful gathering that reflected the heart of Marshall: a community coming together to honor service, celebrate milestones, and look ahead to a future built on generosity and shared purpose.
