The Accidental Fundraiser

This luncheon is brought to you by AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals – California Capital Chapter) – El Dorado County Extension in partnership with Marshall Foundation for Community Health and The Nonprofit Partnership.


You joined a nonprofit board of directors because you believed in the organization’s cause, but now they want you to FUNDRAISE.  Yikes!  Since you’re going to have to help out with fundraising, let’s make it fun!  Learn about how to determine your best role in the developmental process, how to communicate your organization’s impact in the community, and how to make the asking part a little more rewarding for you and your nonprofit.

James S. Anderson and Alice L. Ferris, ACFRE of GoalBusters will lead an open style forum and presentation on the role of board members in the philanthropic process.  GoalBusters Consulting, LLC are passionate fundraisers who help organizations through hands on leadership, energetic training and thoughtful strategic planning.  They are an extension of the nonprofit team, large or small, by being ambassadors for your cause.
