2015-16 Grant Recipients Announced

We’re happy to announce recipients of our community health grants for 2015-16, totaling $22,560. Please congratulate them with us – together we can make a difference!

Big Brother Big Sisters of El Dorado County: Our grant will help support Start Early Program to address needs before they become severe and disabling.

Bipolar Insights: Our grant will help expand the visibility of it’s program and involve more people. Funds will be used to support the Reach Out program and scholarships to support those who are low-income.

Marshall Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehab Department: Our grant will be used for a Trackmaster Treadmill to serve low income patients.

MORE – Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises: Our grant will establish curriculum and instructor training to reach their most vulnerable population, including those who have been physically, emotionally or sexually abused.

The Center for Violence Free Relationships: Our grant will supplement staff with graduate level interns under licensed social workers.
